Best Brunch in Door County

Al Johnson’s Swedish Restaurant & Butik

By far the most iconic restaurant in Door County because it will catch your eye right away. This place has real goats grazing on the roof! It’s a really unique and authentic experience, one you won’t forget. This is one place you need to visit at least once, it will make you feel like you’ve been transported to a restaurant in Sweden. Famous for its Swedish pancakes and Swedish meatballs, perfect for a chilly morning.

It gets very busy here so come early or you might be waiting a while, while you wait you can check out their gift shop where you can find plenty of Scandanavian goods. The restaurant is located right on the water and during the summer there is a beer garden outside you can enjoy along with a nice water view. The only downside to this restaurant is that it is a little pricy which is why we suggest to visit here at least once.
