How to find the best apartment in Appleton?

Before starting your apartment search, there are a few things to consider. The first is your budget, how much are you looking to spend monthly on rent? You might find an apartment that fits all your needs but if it’s outside your budget, you may need to make some compromises like looking in a more affordable area.

The next is, do you have pets? Most people aren’t willing to part ways with their pets so before starting your search, eliminate the apartments that don’t allow pets. Double-check with the leasing office that your pet meets their weight and breed requirements. Just because an apartment building allows pets, doesn’t mean they allow all breeds and weights. There is usually always a fee and/or monthly fee for having pets so keep that in mind along with your budget when deciding on an apartment.

The next question should be, where do you want to live? For some, right in the middle of downtown is a dream for some, but for others, they prefer a quieter location. That could mean compromising for an apartment that is further away from shopping and dining.

Finally, the amenities, this is something that may not be a deal breaker when searching for an apartment but are considered as something that would be nice to have. For example, do they have indoor parking? Yes, it’s nice to have in the winter when the temperature drops very low but may not be a deal breaker if you need to park outside if it means paying less per month.

How much is the rent in Appleton? What is included in the price?

Rent varies depending on location, if you have pets, and how many bedrooms you need. The apartments that are located right downtown will be more expensive. Also, if you require more rooms, it will be more expensive. Something to keep in mind is some apartments charge extra for parking, make sure to ask the leasing office for any other fees so you can plan that in your budget.

A studio starts at $1,138 and goes up to $3,149 for a 3-bedroom apartment. Some apartments offer free outdoor parking but for the most part, you will need to plan for parking in your budget because it’s not included. Some buildings also offer a gym and common areas.

The cost of rent will be more per month if you have pets as all apartment buildings have additional fees for animals.
